President's Message
Hi TXSSAMTr Family. I want to thank everyone who attended the Spring State CE and Business meeting held in League City, Texas on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The Speakers were awesome! The food and the themed social were terrific. It was a pleasure seeing your families and loved ones again. I especially want to thank our Board for everything they do to continue to make our State Society a success. This is an election year for the Board. We held the nominations during the Business meeting. Look for the electronic Election Ballots along with voting instructions during the summer. Finally, April 19-25, 2026, is Medical Laboratory Professional Week is almost here. This is your opportunity to spread the word about the laboratory and its contribution to patient care.
TThis year鈥檚 AMTr Annual meeting will be in Columbus, Ohio, July 21-24, 2026. You can find some information on the AMTr website, under 鈥淐E & Meetings鈥�.
The Fall 2026 TXSSAMTr meeting will be in San Antonio.
The Spring 2027 CE meeting/Cruise from March 06-11, 2027, sailing from the port of Galveston. We will be having lectures on the days that we are at sea. Additional information will be given out at a later date. If you wish to be a speaker, please let us know.
